I am just stopping in today to share this fun bag that I made for my Daughter.  She plays a lot of Softball and I thought I would make a nice big bag, in her team colors, so when we travel it can be done in style.  I added a few different touches to make this bag special for her the first being her initials in red foil.  I just love this and really think it makes the bag.  The other change I made is instead of using webbing for the handles I went with a faux leather and it really takes this bag to another level.

I found this free pattern at the Sew4Home website.  The pattern is clear and easy to follow with their step by step instructions.  One of my favorite things about this bag is that with the long separating zipper the bag opens really wide so you are able to access everything easily.  See how wonderful the piping is to separate the pockets and it is just a beautiful detail.
