Good Morning Therm O Web fans!! This is Jenifer here with you today to share my project using the lovely fabrics from our very own Jennifer Jangles. Jennifer’s fabrics are always so bright and playful and her new collection is no exception. I have been wanting to make a Lone Star quilt for awhile now and when I saw these fabrics I just knew what I wanted to make.
This quilt measures 60″x 60″. I have found many different ways to make this quilt but
this pattern from Moda gave me the courage to jump in and get it done. The directions were clear and easy to follow and I know that I will be making this one again.
I absolutely love the matching plaid for the backing, it really ties the quilt together.
I did a random swirl for the quilting and nothing to fancy to take away from the star. This is going to be a wall hanging for Christmas so I used
StitchNSew Fleece and
SprayNBond Basting Spray to hold all of my layers together. This step saves you from having to use all of those pins to baste your layers together. If you haven’t tried Basting Spray I strongly encourage you to give it a try, it will save you tons of time.
Thank you so much for taking the time to look at my quilt today. Make sure you stop by again and check out more projects made from these fun whimsical fabrics from Jennifer Jangles.
