Every year I try to make my kids a handmade gift for the holidays. In the past they have gotten quilts, bags, aprons, bean bag chairs, flannel pants, and more. This year, I decided to give them a pre-holiday gift by making them some cozy slippers.
I used a tutorial I found HERE to make the pattern for my kids feet, and then I used THIS TUTORIAL to stitch up the slippers. It took me a little over an hour to make a pair.
In the sole, I used some HeatnBond® High Loft Fusible Fleece to add some cushioning. And to add some flair to the outside, I cut some simple hearts from the DecoFoil™ Hot Melt Adhesive, and then added red DecoFoil™ on top!
Hope you are inspired to make something handmade this holiday!
