Good coffee is a pleasure, good friends are a treasure. ~Author Unknown
Hello all, it’s Juliana here with you today and I’m sharing two coffee themed cards I created using some of my favorite Thermo O Web products and coffee themed stamps and dies from Taylored Expressions. I’m a huge coffee lover, and so it was a pleasure in more ways than one, to create these cards to share with you today.
Coffee Cards
Therm O Web Supplies:
Therm O Web Memory Tape Runner XL™
Therm O Web iCraft® DecoFoil™ Peel N Stick Toner Sheets
Therm O Web iCraft® DecoFoil™ – Copper
Therm O Web SuperTape™ 1/4 Inch
Therm O Web Zots™ Bling
12 inch Foil Laminator
Other:
Taylored Expressions Joe To-Go Stamp and Die Set
Taylored Expressions Perfect Blend Stamp Set
Coffee Card Instructions
For my coffee and friends card, I first stamped the image onto watercolor paper with waterproof archival ink and then colored in the image using Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. After the stamping was complete, I added a bit of ink splatter to fill in some of the white space in the upper left-hand corner.
To create the fun glitter border at the bottom I cut a strip of Therm O Web SuperTape™ and adhered it to the card front. I then removed the adhesive liner and sprinkled it with glitter. This is a super, easy way to add glitter to a project. For the final touch I adhered some sequins using Zots™ Bling.
When live gives you lemons, trade them for coffee! Seriously, how fun is this sentiment? To create this card, I stamped the coffee bean image with brown ink onto kraft cardstock. I then stamped the sentiment onto white cardstock. Before adhering the sentiment, I added a bit of jute and adhered it to the card front with a piece of SuperTape™.
Next, I cut a small piece of DecoFoil™ PeelNStick Toner Sheet and applied the Copper DecoFoil™ to it by running it through my laminator. I then used the coordinating die from the Joe To-Go Stamp and Die Set to cut out the lid and coffee sleeve. For a more detailed explanation of how the Toner Sheets work, you can check out my Best Friends post. On that project, I used my Silhouette Cameo to do the cutting, so just replace that step with a die cut machine.
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you enjoyed learning more about using Therm O Web products to create cards!
HUGS!

May 27, 2016 at 9:04 am (8 years ago)Oooo… You’d think as much as Starbucks costs, they could afford to put copper Thermoweb on their cups and make them as gorgeous as this! : )
