The Holiday’s are in full swing at my house so I thought that I would share this fun Christmas ornament that I made using the Heat N Bond® Transfer Sheets. I love how it turned out and I think I will be making a set of them to go up on my tree.
These are quick and easy to make and you could use any image you could think of. How cute would it be to use images of the kids every year as an ornament?
Christmas Ornament with HeatnBond EZ Transfer Sheets
Isn’t she pretty, I got this free image from Ephemera’s Vintage Garden and just knew she was the destined to be an ornament.
Supplies Used:
HeatNBond® Inkjet Transfer Sheets
Vintage Image from Ephemeras Vintage Garden
Olislo Iron (One of the best Irons I have ever used)
May Arts Ribbons
Fabric
Project Instructions:
Gather your supplies of HeatNBond® Inkjet Transfer Sheets, printed Image, scissors or rotary cutter, Iron and Fabric
Place the image face down on the fabric and Iron using a high setting and applying a little pressure. While still hot, remove the paper backing and you will have a beautiful image on your fabric.
This is the image once the backing has been removed.
*One thing to note is that you must use an inkjet printer or your image won’t transfer over successfully. TooltipText
Now you are good to either decorate your image or leave it as it is. I sewed it to a scrap piece of StitchNSew™ Fleece to give it a little bit more stability without all of the bulk.
Here is the Ornament on the tree, she just adds a touch of vintage that I needed on my tree. I used some vintage lace and flowers to dress up my ornament, the possibilities are endless.
Thank you so much for taking a look at my project today and I wish you and your family the very best over this Holiday Season.
