Celebrate Summer with Deco Foil Cards
I really enjoyed creating these cards. There is something about summer and beachy themes that just make me happy. If you’ve never used the Designer Toner Card Fronts before, you are in for a real treat! They are so simple to use.
I placed the toner card front into the Craft & Carrier sheet (with a piece of blank cardstock as my base, just so it’s not too flimsy for my laminator), and then I place the foil (silver side down) on top of it. I run it through the laminator and that’s it! Depending on the humidity level, you may need to run it through twice, but for me, that is usually when it’s cold and dry outside.
For these cards, I also wanted to foil a die-cut, so I used the Toner Sheets. I die cut the sentiments out and then did the same process with the foil on top of the die-cut, running through my laminator. I just love the look of foiled die cuts!
I used the same Toner Card Fronts twice for each card, using both Lime DecoFoil and Emerald Watercolor DecoFoil. I wanted to stack the sheets to make the background a little more fun. So, I did just that! I colored in some adorable images from Newton’s Nook (made to look like my corgi!) and added them on. Everything was assembled using 3D foam squares and my XL Memory Runner.
