Celebrate A Birthday Layout Instructions
While your hot laminator warms up, begin prepping your Clear Toner Sheet to run through it. Cut each of the foil transfer sheets into 1.5 inch wide strips of varying lengths and arrange them on the diagonal on the toner sheet. Remember to make sure that the silver side is down onto the black toner sheet and the color is shining up at you. Trim the edges so you can close your parchment “sandwich” and run it through the warmed-up hot laminator.
If you look closely, at the top, right of the layout I have run the toner sheet through my sewing machine, adding zig-zag stitching here and there for a little visual interest. It is easy to sew on! OR you could use this to cut out some fun shapes with either manual or electronic die-cut machines.
Securing the Toner Sheet to your background is simple, you can use either UltraBond, which dries clear or the iCraft Tape Runner XL which is also clear and not visible through the clear toner sheet.
Now that you have a great ray of sunshine background, it’s time to go to town to complete the rest of the layout! You can watch this and the above foil application come together in my process video below.
Thanks for stopping in today! If you have any questions about how this came together or any of the ThermOWeb products used, please don’t hesitate to ask!
