Inspired by our annual collection of shells and a class taken at scrap retreat, this little Summertime Memory Holder was born. Sizes can vary, depending on what is displayed inside.
For the foundation, cut 3 pieces of chipboard to 7 in by 6 in. And 1 piece of chipboard to 6 in by 6 in. With the 7 in by 6 in pieces, create 3 triangles. Cut overlay to 7 in by 6 in, and create triangle from there.
Trace and cut 6 pieces of Letterpress papers to fit the 7 in by 6 in triangles. One set for the outside, and one set for the inside. Cut 1 piece of Letterpress paper to 6 in by 6 in. Adhere 6 in by 6 in papers to front and back of 6 in by 6 in square with Sticky Tape Mini Runner.
Cut 4 pieces of Letterpress paper to 2 in by 6 in. Score and fold in half. Adhere one side to bottom of the 6 in by 6 in square with ICraft Adhesive tape. Adhere second half of 2 in by 6 in strip to outside of one triangle with ICraft Adhesive tape. Repeat for all 4 sides of square, including clear overlay. Adhere papers to triangles on inside and outside, over the 2 in by 6 in paper strip.
Punch holes on top of each triangle. After the inside display is created [anything can go here!], thread lace through each hole and tie with charms.
Layer and adhere doilies, bottle caps, shells, and jar in the center. These are adhered with Jumbo and Medium Zot dots. The jar has glittered zot dots in medium and small sizes.
Cut and adhere strips of paper 2 in by 5 in to decorate the spools with. Adhere flowers with medium Zot dots. Adhere decorated spools to bottom of holder with Jumbo Zot dots.
