I started this layout by pulling out a sheet of Kraft paper and using the Stencil Pal with the Blanco Transfer Gel and Pretty Pink Posh Stencil. I applied some of the gel to my stencil pal using a smaller spatula and then smoothed it across the stencil in three areas of my paper. I love how smooth the gel goes on with the stencil pal!
You can use Pixie Tape or Pixie Spray to adhere your stencil down so it does not move. The Blanco gel takes about an hour to dry and it will dry white so you can see where it is.
I then pulled out my bronze Deco Foil and cut three pieces to overlay the stenciling and ran that through my hot laminator. These photos do not do the foil justice, it is so beautiful!
Next I did some stamping with the Pretty Pink Posh Camping Friends stamp set and coordinating dies to cut them out with my manual die cutting machine. I cut some out of the Tuscan Gold Flock and stamped them on top with black Archival ink to get a fuzzy unique effect! I colored in the stamps with my Copic markers. I even foiled the tent with the Blanco transfer gel and Emerald Watercolor Deco Foil! I just painted on the gel with a flat square paintbrush!
I added my title and embellished it with the Echo Park Let’s Go Camping collection and added some white splatters and bling from the Pretty Pink Posh Northwest Sequin Mix! I’ve actually used them on two different layouts already, I just love this mix so much!
A big thank you goes out to Pretty Pink Posh for allowing us to create with their beautiful products!
There is a process video on YouTube if you’d like to see exactly how this came together:
Thank you for being here today and I hope I was able to inspire you to create!
