Welcome back!  I’ve got some more new release fun for you today!  I’ve used the Magical Monarch Stamps and Dies, Detail Stencil, Chroma Glaze in Pink and Yellow along with my new favorite, Clear Shattered Glass Transfer Sheets!

Magically Shattered Cards

I started by having some fun with my Ge Press, Rina K Neon Inks and the beautiful Magical Monarch butterfly stamps!  I grabbed a couple prints and die cut panels for my cards.

I chose these two because I loved the light colors for this project.

I added some chroma glaze to the butterflies using the detail stencil.  I did these in between other steps because I would wait for one to dry before adding the glaze to another.  I was able to do a couple at a time if the images were far enough apart to not interfere with the glaze on the other.

Then I used some of the glazes and added a little water so I could splatter it over the panels.  You’ll want to clean up quickly after you do this and don’t use your best brush.  I have some old paintbrushes for just such occasions.

When the panels were dry, I ran them through my Minc with some of the glorious Clear Shattered Glass Transfer Sheets and it stuck to the glaze… I’ll be posting a Reel on Instagram that shows all of the wonderful sparkle… I can tell I’ll be using these a ton!

I colored all my images and chose purple to bring out the purples in the background.  I used blue-green for the leaves because of the blue in the background.

I die cut the detailed butterflies from a flocked gel print and also from some purple Deco Foil to add as embellishments.  I wasn’t sure which color I’d like better and I ended up liking both so I used one of each!

Check out this quick video of Lisa making a card!

Finally, I added a couple sentiments and popped them up on the panels and added the flowers tucked into the sentiment.  The butterflies were glued onto the card … I liked this one in a random spot on the card front…

And this one I liked tucked in with the flowers.  A few sequins was all I needed to finish them both.

Thanks so much for visiting today and please be sure to come back again soon for more Brutus Monroe Magical Monarch Release inspiration!
