Happy Holidays 3D card
I started the design of this card by foiling the toner sheet from the Floral Fantasy set from Brutus Monroe with the watercolor emerald green transfer sheet.
The result was more beautiful and vibrant than expected. Next, I die cut the Christmas tree with the coordinating die and shadow die and cut an additional detail die. I scored the die down the middle and applied some glue to the crease and adhere it to the same die-cut to make the tree appear to be 3D.
Next, I used the 3D foam squares to mount the tree to the foiled card base.
Eat, Drink and Be Scary Card
I finished the card by stamping the Happy Holidays sentiment and adhering it to the card base. A very quick and easy to execute card.
For the second card, I also foiled the toner sheet from the Really Radiant toner sheet set with the new copper ripples transfer sheet.
Next, I cut out the die-cut borders with the black as the shadow layer and the grey as the detail cut. Using the ultra bond adhesive I glued them together.
Next, I adhered the border across the A2 card base and cut away the excess. For the second border, I used foam squares to mount.
Next, I stamped the images I had chosen for this card and colored them with Copic markers.
Using 3D foam squares I adhere the pieces to my card base.
The result was a fun card easily executed. The border dies are truly amazing. I really love the way the new foil shimmers in the sunlight and the fun designs of the toner sheets.
