Hi, it’s Mona here and today I am going to show you various ideas, on how to make beautiful handmade Halloween seat cards with Deco Foil Flock transfer sheets, Deco foil transfer gel, and Glitz Glitter Gel. Find the video tutorial below the post.

Halloween Place Cards with Flock
My first idea was to dry emboss this amazing violet-colored Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets named Purple Punch. As you can see I placed the Fancy Lattice Backdrop die from lawn fawn to my die-cut machine, then I placed the flock transfer sheets on it. Next, I placed my rubber shim on it, added the embossing plate on top and run through my die-cut machine. I decided to make folded 2″ by 3″ seat cards. For this place card size, you need to cut a 4″ by 3″ piece of cardstock or acetate and fold it in a half and you are done with the base. I also made a few die cuts with colored cardstock and the Fancy wavy banners from Lawn Fawn.
On these you can stamp, heat emboss or foil various sentiments, or write on it with hand lettering. I colored various pumpkins and critters which I will put on my seat cards. I don’t want to make this video too long so I am just going to show you this cute teal pumpkin coloring. I used my Copics and I started with the darkest BG13 then continued with BG11 and in the end, I finished the coloring with BG10. As final touches, I am always adding white highlights to pop out the images. Now I have prepped everything, so I am going to put together my fist seat card, just a little stamping in the end with my MISTI. I love this cutie.

My next idea was to die-cut the black Deco Foil Flock and adhere it to clear designer toner sheets. So first I run through my die-cut machine the Black Velvet named Flock with Quilted Lawn Fawn Backdrop then I run the quilted backdrop through the die-cut machine with the outside in stitched scalloped circle stackable from Lawn Fawn. Once it was done I adhered it to my clear base. It’s hard to see how cool this material is but look at the difference between black cardstock and black flock. It’s just awesome! In the end just a quick handwritten name on the seat card and yay, it’s done.

My third idea is to use colorful Glitz Glitter Gel on black cardstock to make a fancy glittery but also cute seat card. I am going to use the fabulous Wild Lilac Glitz Glitter Gel through the fabulous autumn wishes stencil by Gina K Designs. I am extremely happy to use stencils in this video because I have a Pixie spray. This thing is life changing guys, and I can’t get enough of it! In the end, I put it together like the previous ones and continued making seat cards.

For the fourth, I made two seat cards at once with Deco Foil Transfer Gel and Heffy Doodle Pinstripe Stencil. I love this gel soo much because it’s really versatile. This time I am going to use it with Teal Waters and Purple Punch Flock Transfer Sheets. Once they were dry I run them through the laminator with my chosen Flock colors. Also, I set my laminator to the maximum thickness. I always love the moment, when I see how it turns out. Fabulous! I put them together and my seat cards were ready.
Deco Foil Your Pumpkin
I have one more quick tip for you for today, and that’s the foiled pumpkin decoration! 🙂 For this technique, you need the Deco foil Adhesive Pen and a bit of Gold foil. Sketch your text with a pencil on the pumpkin then write on it with the decofoil adhesive pen, and after a few minutes rub the gold foil on it. Once you are done just remove the foil and voila, your foiled pumpkin is done.
