Hello! Jessica here with a layout for our Back to School week featuring our recently released adhesive transfers! When Julia assigned me a back-to-school layout I had to chuckle because my kids aren’t of school age yet so I thought what on earth am I going to do for this?! Then I remembered that when we were on a recent camping trip, my boys really enjoyed reading tractor and equipment newspapers with daddy and I had taken some photos of it! I thought these would be perfect since they were doing “tractor homework” studying all the equipment and calling out their favorites!

Since my kids aren’t in school yet I don’t have any school-themed scrapbook collections so, I started the layout by pulling out some OLDDDD stuff from my stash. A paper pad called Family Fun! I also pulled out the Simple Stories brads and Miss Kate Cuttables I recently purchased(thanks Amazon Prime) that just came in time for this layout! I’m back to my grungy style on this one and pulled out a sheet of Vicki Boutin Foundations paper and added some mixed media down the center in Mustard Seed Distress Ink. Then I added lots of stamping and splatters.

Next, I cut apart some numbers from the adhesive transfers and some of the symbols and placed them randomly around my layout. You can apply the transfers using pressure or a hot laminator. I usually go with the pressure method and apply like a rub-on if it’s on my background paper but my laminator was already on so I just ran it through the laminator quick. Next, I applied various shades of the Gina K Fancy Foils to the transfers and that through my laminator again. The result- Pure AWESOMENESS!

I finished it off with some more stamping and embellishments and pulled out some alphas for my title! VOILA! Finished! I just love how this one turned out!

I have a process video on YouTube so you can see exactly how this came together!

Thank you for being here today and I hope I was able to inspire you to create!

Jessica
