Hey Thermoweb friends, Becki here. I’m so excited to share my very first Thermoweb project with you. Before you know it Summer will come to end and it will be time for the kids to go back to school. I love getting the kids ready to start a new school year. Each year we go shopping for supplies, clothes, shoes and new backpacks. Last Fall my daughter started 5th grade. I snapped a few photos of her sitting on the front porch waiting for the bus. I gathered a few supplies to create this layout. I gathered a few colors of DecoFoil and some DecoFoilâ„¢ Foam Adhesive Sheets.
The DecoFoilâ„¢ foam adhesive sheets went through my manual die cut machine perfectly. Even the little pieces were cut perfectly.
I created a little DecoFoil camera and a DecoFoil Polaroid frame. They turned out adorable! And they’re SO easy to create. All you have to do is peel back the adhesive and press the foam onto the DecoFoil, no heat required! I wish you could see this layout in real life. The DecoFoil elements look so amazing.
Aren’t they cute?!?! That little camera is so much fun. I will be making more of these. Don’t you think that camera would be fun on a card?
And here’s what the layout looks like, all finished:
I really wanted the DecoFoiled elements to shine so I left the other embellishments to a minimum. I added some wonky machine stitching to the Polaroid frame.
I added some 3D foam squares to the camera to give it a little extra dimension.
I love how this project came together with the DecoFoil elements.
What projects have you created with DecoFoilâ„¢ Foam Adhesive Sheets? I’d love to see what you create. Thanks for stopping by the Thermoweb blog. I’ll see you again soon!
