Holiday cards made with Art Impressions are so much fun because using them is like creating mini coloring books on your card. I like to add foiled accents to my stamped and colored in cards using Therm O Web iCraft Deco Foil™ Liquid Adhesive and Foil sheets.
Stamp an image with a light colored ink like the gray snowflakes here and fill in the stamped image with Deco Foil™ Liquid Adhesive. The thin tipped nozzle makes it easy to apply to even fine details and small areas.
Once the liquid adhesive is dry lay Lapis Watercolor foil on top and rub to transfer the foil creating dimensional, foiled stamped images.
This technique can be used with any stamped image whether you color them with Copics like in the card above or watercolor pencils like in this card.
After quickly coloring in the stamped image, use a water brush to move the pigment around and give it the watercolor look.
To apply the stamped and die cut circle to a piece of glitter fun foam, use iCraft® Mixed Media Adhesive which is both permanent and dries clear.
Create small foiled “beads” by creating drops of Liquid Adhesive all around the stamped image and when dry foiling with a gold foil sheet.
Our friends at Art Impressions want to give YOU a chance to win their new holiday collection! You’ll win one of EACH of the stamp sets plus the combo stamp and die wreath set!!
