We’re kicking off a new week here on the Therm O Web blog and what better ideas to share than Christmas ornaments. We’re right on the cusp of the season of many of us preparing to decorate and the one steadfast thing we share across all of our traditions seems to be adorning the tree with beautiful ornaments.

All this week we’ve been sharing share festive ideas for you to use to fill your tree, cards, gift boxes and more! Ornaments make wonderful gift tags and gifts as well!

Angel on my Side Ornament

By Heather Collins

Everyone needs an Angel on their side and sometimes it is nice to give them an ornament as a nice thank you to them.

To start this project I started by attaching the Brutus Monroe Transfer Sheets in Copper Ripples to the Eileen Hull Easy-Cut Adhesive Sheets and with my Big Shot I die cut out the Brutus Monroe Layering Angel.  I also die-cut out a clear layer with the Deco Foil Clear Toner Sheets and also with Brutus Monroe Fallen Snow Glitterstock.

Next, I removed the backer of the adhesive and attached the Angel to the clear acetate.  Then I used some Gina K. Designs Foam Tape and created a pocket and put some snowflake shaker flake inside.  Then I attached the glitterstock to the pocket.

To finish the project I added a loop at the top of the Angel and some gems as I felt they were needed.  I can’t wait to give it to my special Angel.  Hope you will too.
