Hi!  It’s Jen Belnap from The Smitten Chicken.  I am stopping in today to share a fun and fast farmhouse pillow with you today!

I am obsessed with the Farmhouse style (thank you Joanna Gaines!)  I have added a few new pillows to my holiday decor.  This new pillow comes together super fast!  And can even be a ‘no-sew’ pillow if you have a blank pillow that needs some sprucing up!  (See what I did there?!?  haha)

Would you like to make one too?  Here are the supplies you will need:

HeatnBond UltraHold Iron-On Adhesive Bond

HeatnBond Fusible Fleece

3 Fat Quarters (fabric scraps would work too!)

Oliso Iron

Tree Pattern PDF

or Tree Pattern SVG

18″- 20″ pillow

Farmhouse Christmas Tree Pillow

The first thing to do is download the pattern.  You can use either the PDF or the SVG.  If you are using the PDF, trace the pattern onto the paper side of the HeatnBond UltraHold Iron-On Adhesive.  Then press the fabric to the HeatnBond as stated in the instructions.  Then cut out the trees.

I used the SVG!  To cut the trees out, press the HeatnBond UltraHold to the wrong side of the fabric.  Open the SVG in your cutting software such as Silhouette or Cricut.  Place the fabric on the mat right side up and cut!  Aren’t these trees so cute???

Place the trees on the pillow and press into place.  You could be done here as HeatnBond UltraHold requires NO SEWING!  But I wanted to outline each of my trees.  So I pressed HeatnBond Fusible Fleece to the back of my pillow top and quilted around each tree.

Isn’t this pillow so fun?  You can see the outline stitching that I did on the trees.  I love how it turned out!  And it was FAST!!!  You still have time to make it this holiday season.

I love this new Farmhouse Pillow to add to my set!  And the green works for Christmas, but I plan on leaving these out through January.  Aren’t these so cozy next to my fireplace?  This is the coveted spot in our house by the fire.

And just one more because I love it with my tree!

Thanks for stopping by!  If you want to see more of what I am up to, you can stop by my blog, follow me on Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and subscribe to my YouTube Channel.

Chirp Out!

Jen
