Love is in The Air at Therm O Web!

Hello Crafty Friends! Love is in the air at Therm O Web! They have so many fabulous, new products, along with their Designer Lines! Deco Foil has four new Valentine’s Day Toner Card Front designs, “Love All Ways” and “Heartstrings”. There are 2 designs in each package! Also, they have a new Deco Foil Toner Sentiments pack, “Lots of Love”. It has 8 different panels of adorable Valentine and love-themed sentiments (2 of each panel)! If you haven’t seen the newly released Brutus Monroe or Gina K. Designs products, you can see all the new items on the Therm O Web’s new product page!

For this Mickey and Minnie themed blog, I just want to focus how easy and simple it is using Deco’s new products to spice up your cards! For my first card, I used the new Deco Foil Toner Card Front, “Love All Ways”. I used the design with the “love” word all over the toner card front. This time, I am leaving the toner card front just like it is, because I want the mouse ears in black; I could have used Deco Foil Black Transfer Sheets for a matte look, but I wanted to show they can be used as they are. I then used one of Brutus Monroe’s new Deco Foil transfer sheets, Disco, for the mouse’s head! I first used the Fuse Foiling System to fuse the foil to a Deco Foil Solid Black Toner Card Front, so that I can die-cut the head.

Next, I used the same fusing process so that I can die-cut the double layered bow. I used Disco foil for the outer layer and for the first layer I used the new Deco Foil Transfer Sheets in “Candy Hearts”! I used the new Deco Foil Toner Sentiments and used another new Deco Foil Transfer Sheets in “Berry Crush”! I wanted to put the sentiment across the head and make this a Birthday-Valentine’s Day card! To use the Toner Sentiments, you can make all the sentiments on the panel one color, or you could cut strips of different colored foil. I wanted to use two different sentiments and keep it all one color. I then assembled the card using ICraft 3D Foam Adhesive Tabs and topped her bow off with a Minnie Mouse Cupcake Button from Buttons Galore and More.

For my second project, I used the popular postcard die from Waffle Flower and combined it with my small, officially licensed Mickey and Minnie Stamps. So, I thought using the hearts with waves across design, from the “Love All Ways” card fronts would be a cute background! So, I fused the Disco Brutus Monroe Transfer Foil with the card front and then I fused “Candy Hearts” Deco Foil with a Deco Foil Solid Black Toner Card Front for the card base!

I then colored a few stamps a light pink and assembled the card. The card ended up with just enough sparkle! You can spice up any card with adorable card fronts or beautiful foil! It’s a must-have in the craft room!

I had so much fun using the new Deco Foil card fronts and I definitely had fun making these cards! As I said before, I really wanted to focus on how a few card fronts and foil can make your projects and cards stand out! I am always so inspired by the new card fronts and sentiments!
