Summer Vibes Toner Card Front Cards

Hello Therm-O-Web friends. Shemaine here with some fun Summer-Vibes themed cards that I created using our Toner Card Fronts and Deco Foil Transfer Foils.

For the first card, Good Vibes Only, I used some of our Turquoise Deco Foil Toner Transfer sheets with the Design Haven Toner Card fronts in hopes to create a fun pool background for my stamped image. I started out by foiling the toner card front using a carrier sheet.

I love seeing what our Toner Card fronts are capable of so I started by inking the card front with some beautiful dye inks from Catherine Pooler Designs. I used Cummerbund and a blending brush to cover the entire card front.

Next, I drew and cut my own pool template that I laid over the card front and traced.

Looks pretty good eh?

I then used a coverplate die to add some dimension to the toner card front and added a stitched scallop design that kind of looks like waves. I then inked the waves with some Mermaid Lagoon distress ink.

Then I misted them with a mini mister to see if the paper would react which it did!

I then adhered the pool cut-out over some vellum and created a shadow of the pool and stamped my sentiment. I used clear embossing powder to seal the ink.

Next I die cut and colored my images from Avery Elle Soak it Up set.

I adhered the images to my pool with adhesive. I like to add some glitter to my stamped images with this glitter Gelly Roll pen from Sakura. You need this in your stash!

I think the finished card turned out looking very much like a refreshing pool with Summer Vibes for sure!

For the second card, I used the same ink technique along with the mini mister after foiling the Groovy Toner Card Front in Silver transfer foil.

Next, I stamped some fun summer cocktail images from Diamond Press and colored them with Copics.

Next, I cut a fun border and adhered it to the front of my card.

After arranging all the drinks on a die-cut piece of vellum, I used some of our Toner Card fronts in Solid black with our iridescent foil.

Then I cut two Cheers sentiments in white cardstock and using our UltraBond liquid adhesive, adhered them together and then adhered the foiled cheers die cut on top to add dimension.

I adhered everything to my card base and Voila!
