BOO Ghost Halloween Applique T-Shirt

Supplies:

• HeatnBond Soft Stretch Lite Iron-On Adhesive
• SpraynBond Pattern and Stencil Spray Adhesive
• Stitch and Sew Wash Away Water-Soluble Stabilizer
• T-Shirt/Item for Applique
• Fabric for Applique
• Pattern Stencils HERE
• Basic Sewing Notions
• Oliso Iron

Instructions:

Begin by…

Print out the BOO pattern stencil.  Trace the stencil pieces onto the Soft Stretch Adhesive.

Next..

Adhere the Soft Stretch Adhesive to the wrong side of your fabric.  Then, cut out your pieces.

Continue by…

Place the pieces on the t-shirt according to the pattern placement.  Press according to the material package directions.

Next…

Turn the shirt inside out.  Spray the Pattern and Stencil spray on the inside of the shirt over the ironed-on pieces.  Place the water-soluble interfacing over the area you just sprayed. Turn right side out. This interfacing helps to eliminate stretch and bunching of the jersey fabric while appliqueing. It will also dissolve in water and will not pull out delicate stitches when trying to remove.

Finally…

Applique using your favorite method.  I used a blanket stitch.

Important Note: The material we are using here is Soft Stretch Lite.  You must sew this material.  For a no-sew alternative, try using Soft Stretch ULTRA.
