Hello Therm-O-Web friends! It’s summer and you know what that means…It’s time to Travel! My favorite summer destination is the island of Kauai so for today’s cards, I’m going Tropical with my travel theme.

I’m diving into my supplies and pulling out some of my favorite dies and stamps from My Favorite Things. It’s been a long time since I’ve made any crafty purchases that were travel themed, so I’m using what’s in my stash for today’s cards. Let’s get started!

Tropical Travel Themed Cards

To kick off these designs I’m cutting the flamingo dies with our Think Pink Deco Foil flock transfer sheets.

Next, I cut this palm tree die with our Green Envy Deco Foil flock transfer sheets.

Next to adhere the pieces I used our Ultra Bond Liquid Adhesive.

I love using this adhesive. It dries quickly and is no mess!

Next, I stamped out the stamp I wanted to use for my second card and colored it with Copic markers. I wasn’t thrilled with the dull pinks so I re-colored the 2nd one and used brighter colors.

Using some Catherine Pooler inks, I inked my embossed background. I do not know where I got the embossing folder. It didn’t have any info on the company name so my apologies for that.

Using the Ultra Bond Adhesive, I adhered the palm tree and 3d Foam squares to the inked layer.

Next, I foiled the palm tree toner card front with Spring Green transfer sheet.

Using, our Easy-Cut Adhesive, I backed the Black Onyx Deco Foil flock transfer sheet and used it to cut our my word dies. This is probably the one item I make sure I always have in stock. I use it so much for small dies and letter dies.
