Welcome, everyone! Thanks for stopping by. This is Amanda from Twiddler’s Nook with some fun and happy inspiration from the whimsical Laura Kelly Designs products by Thermoweb. The patterns of toner cards and the colors of foil in this line are so easy and happy to create with. Today I have two cards to share using the toner card and then the negative leftover from foiling.

Colorful Laura Kelly Cards
I started my cards by just playing around with foiling backgrounds today. This is the berry purple Deco Foil and a sprinkled stripes toner sheet. I ran them through my heated-up laminator first thing.
That gave me this cool negative sheet so I cut a piece of toner sheet and foiled that. Then I cut a piece of Rainglow Deco Foil and ran it through a second time.
It’s like magic to see these things transform as you pull off the clear sheet. And I absolutely LOVE the combo of that beautiful purple with the Rainglow foil! They play off each other perfectly!
Next, I landed on inking up the sprinkled stripes toner sheet with cracked pistachio distress ink. This is a really fun color combo and not one I typically reach for. But after I inked it up, it seemed plain to me so…bring on the GLITZ!
I attached the Pink & Main random dots stencil with pixie spray to my foiled piece and spread gold glitz glitter gel through it. I set it aside to dry and moved on to other elements of my cards.
I just couldn’t bear to cover very much of the rainbow foiling so while my glitz gel was drying, I stamped and colored the rainbow from Kindness on Purpose and fussy cut it with my scissors. I die cut the foiled background with the largest Trinity Stamps embossed edge rectangle and adhered it to a white card base with Ultra Bond adhesive pen. Then I heat embossed a sentiment on a black strip and popped it up with foam strips. Next, I used foam squares to add the rainbow to the right of the sentiment. So fun!
Okay, now that the glitz gel was dry, I cut that panel with the same rectangle die and then I cut a circle window from it with the Trinity Stamps embossed edge circle dies. I laid the stenciled panel over my white card base and used a blending brush to add a yellow glow to the window opening. Then I added foam strips to the stenciled panel and popped it in place.
Next, I stamped, colored, and cut out some adorable images from Me & My Peeps stamp set to go in the window.
After I added the cut people to the window I thought the balance was off. To fix that, I cut another embossed edge rectangle and trimmed off a strip. I inked the top with green and stamped my sentiment on it. I adhered it, tucking it under the images to ground them. such a sweet card!
For finishing touches, I added glossy accents to the house windows, mom’s lips, and dots on the tie and blanket. Small but it really adds great detail to this fun design!
Jumping back to this fun rainbow card, I did come back at the end and add some unicorn Stickles haphazardly to the stamped image. It just gives a fun shimmer in the light along with the beautiful foiling.
I appreciate you sharing your time with me. Have a fabulous day!

The 2nd card is a surprise with the cracked pistachio and purple….who would have thought that those colors would work so well with each other!
