One of a Kind Rainbow Scrapbook Layout

My oldest was just enjoying the sunshine in our backyard after going with friends to the Pride celebrations in our hometown when I came home. I was able to take a series of photos of just the pure joy of the moment. So many people talk about taking it day by day. Life has taught me that rather we should be taking it moment by moment and looking for the golden moments.
This week is all about remaking a project from one of our fellow designers. I am inspired always by Katrina Hunt and used her many layouts as inspiration for my layout.
To start this project I used my Minc on level 4 with the “Deco Foil Slimline Toner Card Fronts – Love Blooms and the Deco Foil Transfer Sheets, Rainbow. I trimmed my picture down and layered the foiled piece with the Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets, White Latte attaching with Gina K. Designs Terrific Tape, 1/4.
I used a 12×12” piece of scrapbook paper that I had in my stash for the foundation, cutting out a center 10×10” piece to save for a later time. Next, I took a 12×12” piece of white heavy-duty cardstock and trimmed an inch off on two sides. I attached this again with Terrific tape.
On a media mat, I took 6 ink cubes and smeared them on a media mat in rainbow order. Then I sprayed my inks with water and dipped my paper sandwich into the ink puddle. Lastly, I took a splatter tool and splattered the paper with the inks.
I die cut with a Big Shot and the clouds from the Dare2BArtzy Curve Slimline Die clouds out of the Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets, White Latte several times. I attached the clouds with iCraft 3D Foam Squares Dispenser Box 320 count (White) to give the project layers.

Ultrabond Liquid Adhesive
To finish the page off I attached Thickener Phrase stickers with iCraft Ultra Bond Permanent Dries Clear Adhesive Pen. The tip allowed me to put the glue exactly where I wanted to put it without making a huge mess. Then I randomly attached colored gems to the page. Find your golden moments and remember to capture them to remember on those days that the clouds appear.
