Hi, this is Mona and today I have a video tutorial for you where I am going to play with Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets in various colors. Be sure to check out my video tutorial here.
Celebrate Rainbow Cards with Deco Foil Flock
The first step is very simple and easy. All you need to do just cut lots of stripes from your favorite Flock transfer sheets. I decided to cut them by 5 and a ¼” by ¼”. The next step is to put these stripes together. I am just picking the right colors and adhering with purple tape by Therm-O-Web. Because I wanted to make this colorful part in 5 and a ¼” by 4″, I have used 16 stripes.
The next step was the die-cutting. I run the largest die from the Imperial Stitched Rectangles Dies by Heffy Doodle with white cardstock through my Die-cut machine. This will be my card base. Next, I am going to Die-cut Leaves from the Autumn Wishes Stamp and Stencil die set by Gina K. Designs as well as the Amazonian Leaves Dies by Heffy Doodle. I made the die-cuts from white and gold cardstock as well as vellum.
Apply Deco Foil Metallix Gel
Once the die-cutting is done, I am applying the Deco Foil Metallix Gel in Pure Gold Color with Deco Foil Stencil Pal through the coordinating stencil. If you want, you can make the same process with the Deco Foil Transfer gel DUO and you can create leaf veins with Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets in different colors. This time I am going to use only Metallix Gel, but feel free to try the other colors too. I will let the gel dry one hour until then I am going to die-cut the sentiment.
I decided to use the Stitched Alphabetters Dies by Heffy Doodle and create my own sentiment. Because the background is colorful, I decided to create the text in white. However, I also wanted to add more dimension to the letters, so I adhered a piece of white cardstock to a Deco Foil Foam Adhesive and run it through the die-cut machine with the Letter dies.
When it was done, I adhered the letters to the right place. The T ruler is really helpful to make the sentiment straight.
Once the styling is done, I am adhering some tiny star confetti to embellish my card. And the cards are ready. Be sure to check the video tutorial on the Therm O Web YouTube Channel. Have an amazing day, Mona
