Hi, it’s Mona here and today I have a tutorial for you, on how to add more dimension to your card with different products.

Holiday Cards with Deco Foil Flock

In this tutorial I am going to use some new and festive colors of Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets. As well as the Christmas Kringle and Co. collection by Photo Play Paper.

I am starting the cardmaking with stamping and die-cutting. First I am using the Kringle and Co. Photopolymer stamps, and the Wishing you Joy stamp set by Gina K. Designs. I am going to stamp with Hybrid Inkpads to the Flock Transfer Sheets. My MISTI will help me with this. I looked for similar inkpad colors as the Flock Transfer Sheet colors just a bit darker. I stamped with the Coastal Storm hybrid ink pad on the Teal Waters Transfer sheets and with Pine hybrid ink pad to the Emerald Green.

Once it was done, I continued working with the Flock. This time I decided to dry emboss them with the Sunny Studio Stamps Cable knit embossing folder. I love to dry emboss, it gives the cardstock a more unique look. As I mentioned I want to add more dimension to my cards, so I am going to pick the cardstock the die-cuts and the other elements to my card. I chose a beautiful plaid cardstock which I adhered to the Deco Foil Foam Adhesive to add depth to my card. This plaid cardstock is from the same Photo Play Paper collection.

The next step was to embellish and put together my card. I found a big sheet of stickers in the scrapbook paper kit and I thought I am going to use these elements on my card too.  Because the stickers are flat, I wanted to add more dimension so I put on them a quarter inch 3D Foam squares.

When it was done, I added a few star Die-cuts from the Flock Transfer Sheets leftovers and spiced it with a few gold sequins. This project can be done at the last moment, and because of the dry embossed Flock Transfer Sheets it looks amazing. If you have a scrapbooking kit, like I used the Photo Play Paper Christmas Collection, you can finish your cards even faster.

I hope you have enjoyed my project for today. For the video tutorial please check my video I hope you will enjoy it. If you have any questions feel free to ask in a comment. As always you can find the used supplies below, see you next time, big hugs, Mona
