Hi, Jenifer here with you today to share a fun lap quilt I just finished up using the Woof Woof Meow collection from Moda. I LOVE these beautiful fabrics and colors and had so much fun putting this quilt together. I have had the top done for months and just needed the time to sit down and quilt it. Now that it is done my daughter has claimed it for her own.

Quilt Tips and Tricks
I love quilts with big blocks and star patterns. This quilt came together easily and was super fun to put together. I have never done an all circular pattern in my quilting and I love how it looks. I know that I will definitely be doing it again. A soft piece of flannel for the back and so the StitchNSew High Loft Fleece was a perfect fit for the batting without giving it a bunch of extra bulk.
Here is a close up of the back and the quilting. One thing to note that when doing a continuous circle for the quilting is to leave a little more than 2 inches all the way around of the backing fabric, I ran out of backing on a couple of my corners so I added some fabric scraps where I needed more on the corners. I know that it is a mistake but I love the little peeks of fabric on the back and nobody knows that you didn’t do it on purpose. Happy Quilting!
