Fruit BOM – Sweet Cherries Quilt Block with HeatnBond
Hi there, it’s Amy of Sew Incredibly Crazy. How about some sweet summer fun? Have you seen the adorable apple block that was released earlier this week? It is going to be a Fruit Salad of Fun once each block is revealed in the over next few days.
For this fun little hop, I chose to make some sweet little cherries. To make this block, the supplies needed are:
Fruit BOM – Sweet Cherries Quilt Block with HeatnBond Project Supplies:
HeatnBond Lite or EZ Print HeatnBond Lite Sheets
Fat Quarter of beige, red, white and green (pictured above is Island Batik)
Aurifil thread in coordinating colors
Sweet Cherry Pattern
Fruit BOM – Sweet Cherries Quilt Block with HeatnBond Instructions:
To make the block, print out the pattern. Trace the pattern to the HeatnBond Lite or EZ Print HeatnBond Lite Sheets.
Cut out the pieces leaving 1/4″ away from the line. Iron the pattern pieces to the wrong side of the fabric.
Cut out the pieces and iron them on to the background piece according to the pattern.
Use an applique stitch and coordinating thread and stitch around each piece.
Enjoy a sweet little block that you can add to others that are in your collection. Be sure to check back in tomorrow for another block!
