Sometimes it is fun to use one craft project as inspiration for a totally different type of project! For example, check out these gorgeous quilt blocks. Wouldn’t it be fun to use them as inspiration for creating cards?
You can create a quilted look on card backgrounds using 6×6 paper stitched onto a card panel. Use some Therm O Web Memory Runner XL to hold the papers in place while you trim off the excess and stitch them together. As long as you avoid the edges, you won’t have any problems!
Use Therm O Web’s Deco Foil™ Toner Sheets or Deco Foil™ PeelnStick Toner Sheets and an electronic die cut machine to create butterflies.
Add foiling to the die cut butterflies with Therm O Web iCraft Deco Foil™ sheets to add shine!
Adhere the foiled butterflies to acetate with Therm O Web Mixed Media Adhesive and trim around the edges when dry.
Color the acetate openings with Copic markers to create a stained glass effect and then adhere the butterflies to the card with some Memory Runner XL applied to the center of the butterfly.
