Hello! Shemaine here today showing you some fun ways to use our Mixed Media Adhesive and new Watercolor Deco Foils™ with stencils to create a few projects. Our iCraft® Mixed Media Adhesive isn’t just for adhering paper and other mediums for your mixed media projects. It can be used to create stunning backgrounds using stencils as well as adhering fine die cuts that you can’t apply an adhesive runner to.
Let’s take a look at the variety of projects I was able to create for you.

Therm O Web iCraft® DecoFoil™ Emerald Watercolor

To use the iCraft® Mixed Media Adhesive with stencils take a tag and place the stencil over the area you’d like to cover. On a craft mat, dispense a spoon size amount of the mixed media adhesive and apply over the stencil with a paint brush. When you’ve covered the desired area, lift the stencil off the tag and you’ll immediately see the design. Then allow the adhesive to dry for at least an hour.
Once the adhesive dries, cut a sheet of the Therm O Web iCraft® DecoFoil™ Amber Watercolor and place over the tag. Burnish the Decofoil onto the dried adhesive to create this foiled look. This technique can be used with a variety of stencil designs. It’s great for creating cards too!
Another tip is to use a mixed media medium like embossing paste to create a more dimensional texture to your project.TooltipTextAllow that medium to dry completely and then paint the Deco Foil™ Liquid Adhesive 2.1oz onto the embossing paste and allow to dry for an hour. Then burnish the Therm O Web iCraft® DecoFoil™ Emerald Watercolor onto the design. Then embellish the tag as desired.
Thanks for stopping by!
