Hello there! Jen here with a few super simple techniques to add some of that “wow factor” to your next project. I’m talking fringe + foil. So fun!
You just need a few things to get started.
Thermoweb Supplies:
- Deco Foil™ Congrats Stencil
- Your favorite colors of Deco Foil – I used Pink Melon and Champagne. I almost used Opal, but it didn’t make it on my final project.
- Deco Foil™ PeelnStick Toner Sheets
- Deco Foil™ Adhesive Pen
Other Supplies:
- Fringe Border Die from Taylored Expressions (you could use scissors to make fringe as well)
- Manual Die Cutting Machine
- Laminator
- Patterned Paper
I also created a free cut file with simple shapes that are perfect for the fringe technique, as well as the word “smile”, which pairs well with the Deco Foil stencils. You can download it in my shop here.
I created a little video tutorial to show you how fun and easy these techniques are, which you can watch below.

Here is a closer look at the stenciled word below my title. If you get intimidated by using your own handwriting, you definitely need to check out those stencils. Soooo easy!
And here is the finished scrapbook layout.
I hope that you’ll give one or both of these techniques a try to add some “wow” to your next project!
