Fathers deserve a touch of shine on their cards too, but glitter seems a bit too feminine. Enter Therm O Web Deco Foils™! Foiling can add just the right amount of shine to make Father’s Day cards super special. There are loads of ways to apply and use Deco Foils™, but here are three basic ways to add foiling to Father’s Day cards.

Create one of a kind foam foiled embellishments with Therm O Web’s Deco Foil™ Foam Adhesive. The foam can be die cut, hand cut or punched. Remove the backing to adhere to the project.

Remove the top protective layer and lay a foil sheet on top with the color side faced up. Rub the foil on with your finger until applied.

To create a fun distressed foiled background, lay a stencil over cardstock. Apply Deco Foil™ Adhesive Pen to some or all of the open spaces of the stencil.

Once the adhesive is dry, lay a foil sheet over the adhesive and run through a laminator or a manual die cutting machine. Then use the pen and a ruler to draw a border and apply a different color of foil for the edges.

To create fun foiled sticker elements for sentiments or design elements, use Deco Foil™ Peel N Stick Toner Sheets.

Cut the elements out with an electronic or manual die cut machine. These tools and sentiments were cut with a Silhouette Cameo on the Coverstock setting. Then lay foil over the Deco Foil™ PeelnStick Toner Sheets and send through a laminator. Peel off the backing and adhere to your project.
