Hello there! Did you enjoy the first day of spring? seems like depending on where you live it either hasn’t arrived yet – and you are dealing with snow – or it skipped right by and you are enjoying record-breaking heat (like we are here in Boston where temps are expected to be in the upper 80’s today). Crazy!
I have a card to share that would probably work okay for any season. The new Glitter Dust spray makes adding a shimmer to patterned paper easy as pie. (pay no attention to the design on the outside of the can as I’m using a prototype… Glitter Dust should be available in stores by the end of this month)
**Edited to add… Hot of the press… here is a peek at the actual Glitter Dust product!
I created a ribbon rose for this card by running a loose stitch along the bottom of a wide satin ribbon which was folded in half lengthwise and then pulling the thread to gather while rolling it into a rose shape. Instead of fiddling with trying to stitch the rose onto my card I simply popped it onto a Jumbo Zot… to create a DIY flower sticker.
All I had to do was peel off the backing and stick it on to my project.
Can’t remember what in the world I did before they invented Zots? A few of the itty bitty Zots for Bling added extra security to the glittered chipboard letter stickers.
Hope you are having a wonderful day – no matter what kind of weather you are experiencing!
