Hi, this is Mona, and today I have for you a thank you card video tutorial with a watercolor background, Deco Foil Transfer Gel Blanco, and Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets. I hope you will enjoy this technique and coloring video tutorial.

Thank a Nurse Card with Deco Foil Flock

I started with the watercolor background. I think we need lots of rainbows in these days, so I made a watercolor wash. Feel free to check the full process of how I created this look on this background. You can find some extra watercolor tips in the video too.

Next, I run the watercolored background through my die-cut machine with the Stitched Rectangle Dies from Lawn Fawn. I have used the second largest one. Now it’s time to break up this rainbow background with Deco Foil Transfer Gel Blanco through the Moroccan Tile stencil with Deco Foil Stencil Pal. I love to play with different cardstocks and textures, so I thought that the flock texture will be really interesting on the textured watercolor paper. Once it was ready, I gently removed the stencil and cleaned it quickly with water.

I let the backgrounds dry for one hour and now it’s time to create the images. I am using Birdie Brown doctor and nurse images from My Favorite Things. Be sure to check out the video tutorial for the coloring process.

Now it’s time to use the White Flock Transfer Sheets on the water colored background. I warmed up my laminator and placed the Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets with Flock side down to the dried Deco Foil Transfer Gel Blanco. Next, I run it through my laminator between parchment paper and when it was done I gently pulled down the access. The result is a pretty fluffy Moroccan tiles card background with unique details. In the end I put my card together with Memory Tape XL Runner and 3D White Foam Squares. And the card was ready. I hope you have enjoyed my project for today. Thanks for stopping by, Mona
