Hello there! Shemaine here today sharing a fun Summertime themed Birthday card. Both my kiddos have summertime birthdays so making fun, creative cards for them is always fun. My daughter loves Kauai so I thought a bright tropical card would be perfect for her upcoming birthday.

Summertime Birthday Card

For today’s card, I started out stamping several of the tropical images from Rina K Designs Sending Sunshine stamp and die set. I like to use a stamping platform like the Misti to get crisp images. Once I’ve stamped everything, I used the coordinating dies to cut them out for the card.

Using the coordinating detail stencil, I added some Rina K Designs Neon Poppin Pink Glitz to the flower.

Using an old embossing folder in my stash from Darice, I embossed my background paper with a fun pineapple design.

Net, using Thermo-Web’s 3D foam squares I arranged the die cuts to create a design on my card.

Because I chose an intricate die for the sentiment, I like to layer a few cuts together and the Easy-Cut Adhesive is perfect for achieving that. I cut the amount I need and adhere it to the back of the cardstock and run it through my die cutting machine.

Once I’ve layered them, I can peel the back off and adhere it to my card base like below.

The finished card is as refreshing as summertime lemonade! The Rina K stamps and inks coordinate so well to create a vibrant variety of colors.
