Hiya ThermOWeb fans! Suzanna here today to share with you a project that I created for Creativation using one of the latest Rina K Stamp N Stencil sets, some of the new Glitz, and some flock! This Stamp N Stencil set is called “Sending Sunshine”, something we could all use a little bit more of as we hunker down and practice social distancing, lockdown, or whatever version of being at home you are practicing in efforts to unify and flatten the curve!

Oh! to once again sit amongst other people and enjoy the sunshine! Oh, the things we have taken for granted, eh? The bulk of the embellishments surrounding the photo in this layout are created using the Distress Oxide inks in combination with this amazing Stamp N Stencil set, “Sending Sunshine” and either Glitz glitter gel or flock for some texture.

Both the pineapples and flowers (hibiscus’ I believe) come in different color combinations. The citrus I have chosen to be oranges as there is already a lot of bright yellow by way of the pineapples. The greenery is simply the stamp. Please note that at the time of creating, the dies were not available to me so I had to fussy cut everything but there IS an accompanying die.

In addition to the stamps and dies, I used the stencil with some iridescent Glitter Gel to add to the lazy river effect behind the embellishments. First, a watercolor wash was laid out in a circle,  mimicking a lazy river. I then used the stencil for a “bubble” effect and to provide the shimmer of the water on a sunny day.

There are four sentiment stamps that accompany this stamp set. “Hello beautiful” stamped in black was the perfect way to “ground” the layout.
