Pucker Things Up with a Fun Lemon Fabric Purse

Hi there!!  It is Amy from Sew Incredibly Crazy here to show you this cute little purse created using a few supplies and your imagination.
The supplies used in this project were:

HeatnBond® Lite Fusible Adhesive
HeatnBond Fusible Fleece
4 or 5 Fat Quarter in a variety of yellow prints
Aurifil thread to match
Oliso Iron
Bag accessories
zipper
Lemon pattern

Pucker Things Up with a Fun Lemon Fabric Purse Instructions:

To begin, either draw or find a lemon shape to trace for your bag.  Size it to fit the need for the bag.  Iron on a piece of Fusible Fleece to the wrong side of the front and back of your fabric pieces.

Cut around the lemon shape.

The HeatnBond Fusible Fleece is super handy to use on bags of many types.  Next, draw a few triangles on a piece of the HeatnBond Lite.

Iron to the wrong side of several different prints of fabric.  Cut out and remove the backing to iron onto the face of the lemon.   Make sure that there is ample room for the seam allowance at the bottom of the lemon triangles.

Stitch around the triangles in a coordinating thread color.  Add seeds if desired.  To finish the bag complete as you would a zippered bag.  Add different hardware and a strap to the bag, if desired.

Enjoy a little slice of summer!!
