Hello Crafty Friends!!

Larissa here and I’m SO EXCITED to be here with you today to share some Projects I’ve made using some Brutus Monroe products!!

Mix Things Up with Deco Foil and Brutus Monroe On Your Cards

For my cards today I have a FUN NEW Technique to share that will have you creating 2 Cards with one Background!! SQUEAL!! I LOVE that, especially when the results are a BEAUTIFUL as these!!

First Card ~ Supplies Used:

Therm O Web Products
Gina K Designs Premium Luxury White Cardstock
Gina K Designs Premium Black Onyx Cardstock
Therm O Web Transfer Gel
Wild Cherry Deco Foil
Gina K Designs Nested Circle Set Double Stitched Designs
iCraft 3-D Foam Squares
Deco Foil Parchment Paper
Laminating Machine

Brutus Monroe Products
Brutus Monroe Mixed Media Jagged Heart Stencil
Brutus Monroe Heart Lace Background Stamp
True Love Wedding Day Stamp Set
Brutus Monroe Ultra Fine Embossing Powder in Raven

Other

ColoriQue Ink Black Diamond
Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins
Copic Markers
Tonic Studios Silver Lining Nuvo Drops & Aqua Shimmer Pen

I started by Stamping and Embossing the Brutus Monroe Heart Lace Background Stamp with Brutus Monroe Ultra Fine Embossing Powder in Alabaster onto some Gina K Designs Premium Luxury White Cardstock.

Then I took the Brutus Monroe Mixed Media Jagged Heart Stencil and taped it down using Purple Tape to the Stamp and Embossed piece of Gina K Designs Premium Luxury White Cardstock and used a Tonic Studios Spatula to coat it with some of the Therm O Web’s Deco Foil Transfer Gel. I set it aside to dry!!

I placed my Wild Cherry Deco Foil on top of the Piece and Ran it through my Laminating Machine while it was wrapped in the Deco Foil Parchment Paper. The results will leave you with an AWESOME Foiled Card and a BEAUTIFUL Foil Negative that will create another AWESOME Card with little effort!!

To finish off the Card, I Stamped and Embossed a couple Sentiments and some Hearts from the Brutus Monroe True Love: Wedding Day Stamp Set onto a Gina K Designs Nested Circle Set Double Stitched Designs Circle from some Gina K Designs Premium Luxury White Cardstock using Brutus Monroe Ultra Fine Embossing Powder in Raven.

I backed it with another Gina K Designs Nested Circle Set Double Stitched Designs Circle from some Gina K Designs Black Onyx Premium Cardstock and before putting it all together I added some Black Diamond Ink Splatters, and some Sequins with Silver Lining Nuvo Drops added to the center of each Sequin!! I used iCraft 3-D Foam Squares to pop up the Stacked Sentiment Circles off the Cardbase and the first card is finished!!

Second Card ~ Supplies Used

Therm O Web Products
Gina K Designs Premium Luxury White Cardstock
Laminating Machine
iCraft Tape Runner XL
iCraft Mixed Media Adhesive
Gina K Designs Premium Black Onyx Cardstock
Therm O Web Transfer Gel
Wild Cherry Deco Foil
Gina K Designs Nested Circle Set Double Stitched Designs

Brutus Monroe Products
True Love Wedding Day Stamp Set
Brutus Monroe Ultra Fine Embossing Powder in Alabaster

Other

Negative Foil Piece
ColoriQue Ink Black Diamond
Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins
Copic Markers
Tonic Studios Silver Lining Nuvo Drops & Aqua Shimmer Pen

For the Second Card, pick a subtle patterned paper design and cut or die cut the piece into your desired Cardbase Size, I’m using a Stitched Die Cut that is A2 Size. Then using your Tonic Studios Spatula coat the piece of Patterned Paper with a thin coat of Deco Foil Transfer Gel. Set it aside to dry.

Once it’s completely dry, place the negative foil piece on top of the dried Deco Foil Transfer Gel lining it up to cover the patterned paper and sandwich it between a piece of Deco Foil Parchment Paper so you can run it through your Laminating Machine.

Remove the film and there you have an AMAZING bonus cardbase. I LOVE that you can create two similar, but very different card bases from one Technique.

To finish the Card I Stamped and Embossed the Sweet Couple from the Brutus Monroe True Love: Wedding Day Stamp Set and colored them in with Copic Markers!! I used a Glitter Gel Pen to add some Details to the Wedding Dress and the Veil and then added some Tonic Studio Nuvo Drops in Morning Dew to the Bouquet and the Glasses for some FUN Texture.

I Die Cut a Gina K Designs Nested Circle Set Double Stitched Designs from some Oatmeal Cardstock and then I Inked it with some Ink to make the Images POP!! I Fussy cut the Images out and then used the iCraft 3-D Foam Squares to pop them up off the Double Stitched Circle Die Cut!! I Cut a Banner from some Gina K Designs Black Onyx Premium Cardstock. I stamped and embossed the Sentiment with Brutus Monroe Ultra Fine Embossing Powder in Alabaster. Before putting it all together I added some Black Diamond Ink Splatter, some Sequins!!

THANKS SO MUCH for stopping by today and I hope you feel inspired to give some of these ideas a try!!?? If you create something I hope you’ll share it with us on social media using the #thermoweb and #deofoil as we LOVE to see what you create!!

Have a FABULOUS Week!!
