It’s Amanda from Jedi Craft Girl!!  I am excited to be sharing my version of the Lottie Dot Bag during Jennifer Jangles week!  How cute is Jennifer, her patterns, fabrics, beads & buttons!!!  Love her!!  Check out her shop for this patterns and many others.  I choose to make a Christmas version of this darling bag.  During the month of December, I make it a point to wear red and green every day (essentially I look like an elf!).  This bag will be the perfect accessory to my Christmas Spirit!!

The pattern was very easy to follow and it didn’t take much time at all.  The pattern is printed in full color with full size pattern pieces.

The only thing I changed was that I quilted the outer part of the bag.  I used  Therm O Web’s Spray n Bond to baste the outer bag fabric to the quilt batting.  Spray n Bond is one of my FAVORITE sewing/quilting products!!!  It is magical!  I straight-lined quilted the outer bag every 1 inch.  It makes the bag soft & sturdy.

I used Jennifer’s, “It’s Christmas” fabrics – So cute and whimsical!!

For the bag lining and the straps, I used Heat n Bond Woven Fusible Stabilizer.

I also used some of Jennifer’s polka dot buttons to attach the bag straps.  I love how it turned out!!
