Hello crafty friends! Today I’m sharing some quick Halloween tags. Since my boys are no longer trick-or-treat age, I put together treat bags for them each year to leave in their rooms. Of course, a plain old bag would never do. These fun Enamel candy tags are the perfect finishing touch but are quick and easy to throw together last minute.

Neon Enamel Halloween Candy Tags

ENAMEL CANDY TAGS

Tag Supplies:

Rina K. Designs Electro-Pop Neon Enamel Transfer Sheets – Orange Glow, Loud Lime and Poppin’ Pink
Rina K. Designs Electro-Pop Neon Flock Transfer Sheets – Orange Glow
Deco Foil Transfer Gel Blanco
iCraft UltraBond Liquid Adhesive
Deco Foil White Foam Adhesive

Other Supplies: Cardstock, die-cutting system and dies, ink, scissors, tulle or ribbon, hole punch, and eyelets.

STEP ONE:

To begin, brush a layer of Deco Foil Transfer Gel Blanco on a strip of white cardstock and allow to dry. If you are impatient like me, run your heat tool over it to dry.

Lay sheets of  Rina K. Designs Electro-Pop Neon Enamel Transfer Sheets (dull side down) over the Transfer Gel and run through your foiling machine inside of the appropriate carrier and peel away the Transfer Sheets. You will be left with shiny enamel in a cool sketchy pattern.

Die-cut candy shapes from the enameled cardstock.

Hint: Die-cut extra candies from white cardstock and layer to create dimensional candies.

STEP TWO:

Using a water-based marker color over the enamel candy and wipe off the excess. The marker color will remain in the recessed areas where there is no enamel but will wipe off of the glossy enamel leaving you with a spooky, streaked candy.

Hint: Use contrasting colors for the best effect.

STEP THREE:

Die-cut and ink up some pumpkins or jack-o-lanterns and cut the tops off to create candy buckets. Adhere your pumpkins to a tag base using Deco Foil White Foam Adhesive to raise them a bit so you can tuck your candies inside and behind.

Die-cut a sentiment from Rina K. Designs Electro-Pop Neon Flock Transfer Sheets and add it to your tag.

Hint: Cut some of the candies in half since you will see only one end anyway.

Add your tag to a treat bag or card for a fun Halloween gift.

I hope this inspires you to experiment with your Enamel Transfer Sheets; we would love to see what you come up with!
