IMG_9438Do you use Thermoweb interfacings to embroider?  Did you know you could use Heat N Bond to applique?  Well you certainly can!  I nabbed this design up from a shop called French Frills on Etsy.  Lots of people use them for hooded towels, but I decided my girl needed a jacket.  I used several different stabilizers, so I am going to lay them out for you.  French Frills also has a ton of videos on there youtube on how to put these designs together.

IMG_9450Supplies:

Knit for the face of the Ice Princess and sandwiched Heat N Bond® lite between two layers of knit and on the bottom of the knit to secure it to the jacket hood once I was done.

Fleece for the hair and under the fleece I used HeatnBond® Fusible Fleece to puff it up.

StitchnSew™ Medium Tear Away in the hoop, StitchnSew™ Water soluble stabilizer on the top of everything as it stitched.
